Slow integration

Thousands of genes of mitochondria and chloroplasts have found their way into the genome of the plant. But it is a process that is purposely slow German researchers show in Nature Plants.

Duizenden genen van mitochondriën en chloroplasten hebben hun weg in het genoom van de plant gevonden. Dit is een bewust langzaam proces laten Duitse onderzoekers in Nature Plants zien.
