Vrucht ontwikkeling Aardbeien, appels, peren, bananen, maar ook komkommers, tomaten, paprika, en pompoenen, alle vruchten. Allemaal beschermen ze de zaden van de plant. Verspreiden deze. Omdat wij en andere dieren ze plukken, meenemen, opeten. Ook zijn er talloze zaadloze vruchten. Speciaal voor ons gekweekt. Maar we weten eigenlijk niet echt hoe dit mogelijk is.
